Ciao
ENGLISH VERSION
Hello again EVERYONE! Today I will be talking about one of my latest art journal pages that I have created for the blog chanllege «More than words» in the month of October (http://morethanwordschallenge.blogspot.be/2016/10/october-2016-main-challenge-change-ombre.html), as a requirements there are as a main theme «Change» and as technique «Ombré» , which is a gradient of a hue of a color from light to dark.
And here you are the result:
It is a very textural page that I created in one of my art jornals which is nothing more than an old book, and is that I love the background that gives the text of the book. I have used the ombre from right to left in different shades of pink using Gelato mixed with Gesso. Against this background I’ve been adding layers to create texture and uniformity to the page.
As a focal point I used a plate with the word Art, because those who follow me on the blog know that art has been a big change in my life, an engineer by profession but I’ve always been fond of the scrap and card making, it was recently that I discovered that I could draw so I’ve been forming and passionating by the mixed media and art journal , and now I can’t spend more than one day without translating what I feel through the drawing and that is one of the reasons why «Rueda de colores» exists.
